DXF CATALOGUE / LICENCE
A digital drawing.
Real possibilities.
A licence to use the design in your production, including commercial production. Your purchase grants a right to use the file; it does not transfer intellectual property ownership.
Version for DXF purchases · 3 November 2026
What you are allowed to do
- Use the DXF to make an unlimited number of physical products for your own use or for sale to your customers.
- Adjust dimensions and geometry for your production and retain working and backup copies.
- Use the design within the business of the purchasing person or entity, including on multiple workstations controlled by that purchaser.
- Provide the file to a workshop carrying out manufacturing on your behalf, only as required for your order. The workshop receives no right to reuse it for other customers, distribute it or add it to its own collection of designs.
- Publish photographs of the physical products you have made.
The licence is non-exclusive, belongs to the purchaser and has no expiry for the purchased design, unless the contract is terminated or the licence conditions are breached. It is not a subscription and does not require additional royalties for each physical item produced.
What is not permitted
- Reselling, giving away, publishing or sharing the original DXF or a modified version as a standalone digital file or as part of a downloadable bundle or collection.
- Making the file available through marketplaces, public archives, model libraries or distribution platforms.
- Transferring or sublicensing the design to other people or businesses, except for the limited manufacturing access described above.
- Reconstructing and distributing an equivalent digital file from the previews or claiming exclusive rights to the purchased design.
The licence does not include trademarks, third-party rights or permissions for uses requiring separate consent. Previews may be viewed to evaluate a purchase.
Millimetres, 1:1 scale and machining preparation
The catalogue designs are drawn in millimetres at 1:1 scale, as confirmed by the practice. If your import software does not automatically detect the units, choose millimetres and a scale factor of 1. Always check that the imported dimensions match the required overall size.
The product includes the DXF geometry specified in its description. Materials, physical objects, toolpaths, G-code, compensation, machine settings and cutting services are not included. Machining must be prepared for the actual machine, tool, thickness and material.
The file is not a structural design, safety certification or production approval. For adaptations, construction details or technical assessments, you can request a dedicated CAD service.
Support and consumer rights
The licence does not restrict statutory conformity remedies or other mandatory rights. If a file is damaged, does not match its description or has a problem, see Refunds and withdrawal and contact the practice.
